A Sunny Splash

I trotted past the flower bed and discovered the garden hose coiled in broad green loops right across the warm flagstones! Near the brass spray nozzle, a single clear water droplet clung to the tip, glistening like a polished bead. I planted my front paws firmly on the stone and stretched my neck forward to give it an inquisitive sniff. Drip! The drop splashed straight onto my black nose, making me give a sudden joyful yip and a quick playful sneeze. My furry tail swished across the sunny pavers as I tapped the wet nozzle with one soft paw to see if another would fall!
