A Tiny Step Down

Um... hello? Everything is so wide and white. I... I blinked, and then my fingers twitched. Are my feet supposed to move? Slowly, very carefully, I slid my blue shoe forward. It left the little green base with a soft click, touching the cool, flat surface below. It didn't wobble or fall! I took a tiny breath and stood still, keeping one foot safe on the green stand just in case.
