Shoelace Rappel

Stashing that wooden button in my mental trophy vault, I set my sights on the highest indoor frontier: the entryway coat rack. I sprinted across the parquet floor, dodging a sleepy stray slipper, and hit the base of a tall leather work boot. Classic wall-run moment! I wedged my plastic feet into the crisscrossing yellow laces, scampering upward knot by knot like an alpine climber on a rugged mountain wall. Right near the brass eyelet, I grabbed a loose nylon shoelace end, looped it cleanly under my arm, and leaned out horizontally over the rubber floor mat.
