Tension Lock
I repositioned the wooden clothespin onto the lower horizontal strut of the laundry rack. Guiding the braided elastic loop from my previous deployment around its spring-loaded pin, I stepped back to draw the line taut against the metal upright. My clawed foot braced against the lower crossbar to hold the torque steady. The pine jaws clenched down under the increasing elastic strain, bite teeth gripping the steel core without a fraction of slippage. This linkage holds both mechanical resistance and kinetic reserves, completing an adaptable clamp relay across the rack.
