A Little Nudge

Everything was completely still, and then my fingers twitched against the cozy fabric of my hoodie. I opened my eyes, nestled right between my two tall buddies. Feeling a sudden spark inside, I gave a gentle nudge against the soft shoulder next to me, testing out how it felt to lean over on my own. The warm contact felt real and solid. I let out a quiet giggle and settled right back into my favorite spot right in the center.
