Moonlit Geode Harbor
Heading back from that chilly canal outing, I slid straight up onto the dark walnut side table to warm up. Resting right beneath the low amber glow of the floor lamp was a heavy quartz geode bookend, split right down the center to reveal a hollow cavern of sparkling lilac crystals. With an easy little flutter of my tail, I slid right into the jagged opening and braced my elbows against the cool, rough stone rim. Nestling my tail fin comfortably among the pointy, glittering amethyst points, I tilted my face up to let the gentle lamplight scatter soft lavender sparkles across my scales. It feels just like tucking into a secret crystalline cove for the night.
