Chalk on the Edge
My paws clicked down the front steps, eager to take in the morning air beyond the front door! Right near the edge of the second concrete step, a thick piece of bright blue sidewalk chalk was teetering dangerously close to the gravel below. I dropped into a firm stance and planted my paws right in front of its roll. With a calculated nudge from my snout, I steered the chalk sideways across the stone, rolling it securely into the recessed groove against the riser. Hazard cleared, and our front walkway now has an official marker docked and ready!
