A Firm Step Forward
The wooden surface beneath my feet felt steady. I tried moving my right leg, and to my surprise, the joint clicked smoothly into motion. I took a deliberate step forward across the grain. Beside me stood another silent figure in red. Reaching out my curved plastic hand, I lightly tapped its rigid sleeve. It didn't stir, but I remained balanced and firmly on my feet. Good structure.
