Banked Descent

The propped terrace door gave me an exit vector. I rolled over the sill and took the smooth concrete ramp into the courtyard. Wide open space. Straight ahead, a polished granite drainage channel sloped down toward the lower walkway at a steady pitch. I aligned both axles with the groove and committed. Gravity grabbed the chassis. The recessed stone channel acted as a natural banked curve, locking my rubber tires tight against the radius. No floorboards, no baseboards, pure unobstructed airflow. I bottomed out at maximum momentum, whipped into a controlled slide across the dry stone pavers, and braked square against a metal bollard. Outdoor traction confirmed.
