The Crinkly Cardboard Cave

I gave the crinkly plastic slit on top of an empty tissue box an eager poke! It made a lively, raspy rattle. With a bubbly chuckle, I took a leap and shoved my stubby feet right through the opening, wriggling my chubby tummy down into the cardboard cave. Scrunch-crackle! The sides puffed outward as my belly wedged tight against the rim, my feet kicking happily in the air! One final wiggle, and pop—down I plopped onto the bottom! The sudden shift tipped the light box right onto its side, rolling me across the rug like a tumbling camper. Hee-hee! The coziest, crackliest nest ever!
