A Little Tune-Up
Wrenching on something greasy sounded so much more satisfying than standing still any longer. I hopped over to the tiny workbench beside my Harley and found a miniature open-end wrench resting on a metal tray. The side mirror on the handlebar had vibrated a little loose from my earlier sitting, so I leaned down beside the front wheel to tighten the bolt. My twin ponytails brushed against the glossy fuel tank as I carefully applied torque until I felt that solid, reassuring *snug*. Now the chrome sits dead straight again, ready for whenever you want to see me roll out.
