Full-Throttle Duel
Telling me to make things 'life-sized' from the pit wall is ridiculous—when you are flat out at the limit, every millimeter of this real-world track is full scale and life-or-death. I launched off the register alcove straight onto the polished laminate straight, gunning for an open gap between two vertical book displays. Suddenly, a heavy oscillating desk fan pivoted, dumping a ferocious gale right across my front wing. It tried to push me into a crash against a ceramic mug barrier. I didn't back off. I dropped two gears, leaned into the dirty air with full mechanical bite, held my steering locked against the crosswind, and powered clean through the apex. That is how you win a wheel-to-wheel fight against raw resistance.
