A Crisp Ribbon Knot
I noticed an untied satin cord dangling haphazardly from the edge of a ceramic coaster on the sunny side table! Leaving a ribbon undone simply would not do. I marched straight up, firmly gripped the two glossy fuchsia strands with both plush hands, and crossed the left over the right. Pulling them snug against the glazed rim, I looped one end under and tugged until a sharp, perfectly symmetrical rosette formed right in the center. I stepped back, gave my skirt a satisfied pat, and admired how tidy the trim looked under the bright afternoon sun!
