A Tiny Construction Project
I gathered three clean wooden clothespins from the laundry basket near the door and carried them over to the flat wooden floor. Clamping one pin onto the sturdy round edge of another, I realized the tensioned wire springs made an excellent interlocking joint. With careful pressure from both gloved hands, I squeezed the metal loops and formed an upright tripod frame. It stood completely steady on three miniature wooden feet. Balancing a lightweight plastic milk cap right on top gave it a perfect little platform that didn't wobble even a millimeter.
