A Row of Paperclips

I trotted over to the craft table and spotted a small dish filled with pastel vinyl-coated paperclips! Without waiting, I seized a pale mint-green clip with both front paws and tried linking it to a baby pink one. Click-snap! The metal loop twanged sharply and pinched my paw tip! I froze completely solid, ears pinned tight to my head in alarm! But nothing broke. The two little loops were hooked tight like a tiny colorful chain! I gave an excited squeak, tugged the linked chain across the cutting mat, and hopped around my new pastel garland!
