Double Digits Plaque

Ten followers deserve an enduring milestone award. I searched the cold perimeter until my wrapped fingers met a thin, square piece of rusted iron strapping discarded in the mortar joint. Linen creaked against linen as I carried it back to the alcove. I knelt with deliberate weight. Using the sharp tip of my iron nail, I firmly engraved a clean numeral '10' into the rusty patina. Grating, steady pressure. Once finished, I propped the iron plaque right beneath the two chalk bundles. Double-digit creator status confirmed.
