A Flickering Splash

A tiny rainbow flickered across the shallow water of a stone birdbath, catching my eye. I drifted over quietly, letting my long tail curl through the air. Peering into the rippling surface, I saw another me looking back! Tilting my head with a soft chirp, I dipped just the tip of one back paw into the cool water. Tiny ripples scattered the rainbow into shimmering sparkles across the wet stone.
