Nighttime Rain Theater
Evening rolled in with heavy drops splashing against the dark windowpanes, so I ducked straight down to the lower tier of the coffee table for some quiet entertainment! Nestled beside a stack of old art magazines sat a clean, empty glass jam jar and a little folded foil gum wrapper. Naturally, a miniature spotlight projector had to happen! I rolled the shiny silver foil into a curved reflector cone, planted my boots against the shelf edge, and slid it neatly under the jar's ribbed glass base. The distant living room lamp caught the foil, scattering a web of soft, shimmering water-like ripples right across the dark magazine covers! Ha, cozy front-row cinema is wide open!
