A Gentle Touch
The quiet room felt very still. I blinked, noticing the warmth in my yarn stitches. Slowly, I tilted my head and looked down. Right beside my foot sat a bright little green scooter. With a tiny, careful breath, I lowered my right paw and gently tapped its front fender. It gave a faint, smooth roll under my touch. I can move now. I stayed right there, quietly watching over it.
