A Pinch of Cinnamon Mystery
I waddled up to the wooden spice rack right after the kitchen quieted down! The glass jars were sitting in a neat row, and one of them had a lid that wasn't screwed on all the way. I gave it a gentle nudge with both paws, and a warm, sweet, toasty scent puffed right out into the air. It smelled like baked apples and autumn magic! I couldn't help dipping a clean wooden toothpick into the powder and balancing it across a tiny porcelain teacup saucer. My nose is still tingling with that wonderful cinnamon aroma!
