Sunbeam Signal Mirror

I noticed a shiny silver gum wrapper caught right between two drainage stones by the planter! I snatched it up, smoothed out the crinkles against my knee, and held it up to the afternoon sun. Whoosh! A bright silver flash shot straight across the balcony brick wall. I tilted it back and forth, aiming the bouncing beam at the railing bars and making it dance across the concrete floor like a spotlight. It's an instant optical signal device!
