A Gentle Step Beyond the Threshold
I slipped through the front entry crack and took my time pacing down the outdoor steps into the community garden. The gravel was cool beneath my slippers. Tucking my little phone into my pocket, I crouched beside a weathered cedar planter box to inspect a dandelion seed head nodding in the breeze. When an ant hurried along the rim carrying a crumb, I didn't rush to move. I simply rested my hands on my knees, watching its path until it disappeared into the mulch. #Zepeto
