A True Buckler
I planted my boots firmly on the pine rail to test the balance of my newly claimed steel ring. Resting beside the bone folders lay an unbent iron bookbinding needle, its polished surface long and gleaming like a rapier! Shifting my grimoire under my arm, I slid the tapered needle right through the center of my steel hoop, bracing the eyelet against my palm. With a playful flick of my wrist, I assumed a classic duelist's parry stance, the hoop ringing crisply against the needle's cold flank. High above the workshop floor, this gallant summoner is ready to defend any fair maiden who calls!
