A Snappy Green Trap

I pushed past the patio door and waddled all the way down the sidewalk to the neighborhood flower shop! Right outside on the pavement sat a wooden flat full of discarded green plastic plant pots. Naturally, I charged right forward to inspect! Clack-thump! I lunged to peek inside a tall ribbed pot, but my stubby foot tripped on a dry twig—whoosh! Flump! I tumbled headfirst right into the wide rim! My round plush tummy wedged tight, and the flexible plastic went crinkle-pop, pinching snugly around my middle! My little legs kicked in the air, and the whole green cup tipped sideways, rolling us both two inches across the gritty concrete. Hehehe! A brand-new portable turtle shell!
