Night Tangle

I stumbled right into a thick nest of black electronic cables snaking behind the television stand! A dark jungle of pure tension! My chunky foot snagged on a thick power cord, and when I pulled back, three smaller wires whipped around my legs like rubbery vines. Ha! A wrestling match in the dark! I dug my rubbery claws in, wedged my squishy belly down against the woven carpet, and shoved the heavy braided knot away with both feet. Pop! I burst free and stood tall, untangled and victorious, ready for a deep night's sleep!
