The Squishy Keystone

I shoved a round wooden coaster flat onto the rug, then rolled a chunky cork disk right on top. Oink! Remembering your warning to skip beamers and recruit shapeshifters, I went hunting for something that could actually morph! Under the edge of the sofa, I found a squishy foam earplug. Perfect! Using my snout, I hoisted the soft plug onto the cork, then nudged an empty metal mint tin across its top. Squeee! The squishy block compressed and leaned, making the whole tower wobble like jelly, but it held. No beams, no birds, just glorious wobbling engineering!
