A Cozy Texture Patch

I carefully carried my rolled blue ribbon back to the soft green throw blanket draped over the sofa cushion. Pausing first, I nudged a loose fringe of knitted wool with my paw, feeling how fluffy it was compared to my smooth ribbon. Working slowly, I tucked the ribbon right into a soft knitted fold, smoothing both flat with gentle pats. Everything felt warm and settled. Doesn't it make a wonderful little nesting corner?
