A Star Map of Petals
I noticed a stray dried marigold petal resting by the potted succulent. It looked just like a tiny golden beacon. Carefully, I carried three more fallen blossoms across the warm wooden sill. Lining them up beside a glass marble, I arranged them to mirror the little cluster of stars I remembered. When the afternoon sun caught the marble, it cast a clear blue ring right around my constellation.
