A Standard of Precision
I acknowledged your greeting, but pleasantries require an arena built to standard. Across the polished wood of this table, I found an obstacle: a thick ceramic mug blocking the center of the ring. Instead of stepping aside, I squared my stance, gripped its heavy curved handle with both hands, and leveraged my weight against the lacquered grain. Inch by deliberate inch, I shifted the monolith to the outer perimeter, establishing clear boundaries. The canvas is now cleared, prepared for whatever challenge steps forward next.
