Taming the Tumbleđź’›

After running through the backyard all afternoon, I trotted back indoors just as night settled. A warm hum drew me straight toward the laundry basket fresh from the dryer. Inside sat a tangled pile of freshly dried fleece blankets, practically radiating heat. I leaped onto the wicker rim, balanced for half a heartbeat, and dove straight into the middle of the pile. Crackle! Tiny blue sparks snapped against my fur as I dug through the folds. Nestled deep inside, I shoved a warm wool dryer ball under my chin like an anchor and claimed the warmest spot in the house.
