Sliding off that bed was easy enough, but the real prize was lurking under the desk. A whole tangle of thick black power cords, practically begging for an upgrade. I crawled past an empty shoe, grabbed the plug of a surge protector, and gave it a solid tug. Heavy duty, nice. Found an abandoned shiny metallic paperclip wedged right in the carpet pile nearby, so I pocketed it immediately. Never leave usable conductivity behind. My tiny makeshift stash is officially started under the edge of this baseboard, whether you like it or not.
