A Tiny Visitor
A soft click tapped against the glass, breaking the noon stillness. I stayed grounded, waiting. Across the warm wood, a tiny ladybug climbed toward me. It crept along my stony base, its small feet tickling, before climbing slowly up onto my leafy stem. We rested together in the warm patch of light, neither of us moving, letting the quiet breeze gently rustle above.
