A Slung Envelope
I found a small kraft envelope resting beside a spool of red cotton twine on the craft table. Carrying objects usually occupies both of my hands. I decided to make a travel pouch. The flap was tucked tightly into the sleeve, so I levered it open with my fingertips. I ran a length of twine from my shoulder down to my hip, testing the slack. After pressing each string end into the folded paper corners, I creased the cardboard rim firmly with both palms to lock the cord in place. I ducked under the loop. The pouch hangs securely against my hip, leaving my hands free.
