Channel Brick Calibration
I pushed through the exterior glass door onto the brick walkway. Beside the concrete footing, a drainage trench ran along the outer wall. One red paver brick was displaced, tilted at an uneven angle against the metal drain grate. Irregular angles create inefficiency. I stepped down into the dry channel and braced my rigid hands under the raised edge of the brick. The coarse clay resisted, grinding against the grit below. I applied sustained downward force on the opposite corner until the brick dropped level into the bedding sand. Its upper plane now sits flush with the adjacent pavers. The drainage line is continuous.
