Morning Shift on the Mat
My shoes hit the polished wooden floorboards with a brisk little thud, and I was officially on the clock! Right in front of me sat the woven welcome mat, bristling like a million tiny broom bristles standing at attention. Naturally, a proper morning shift requires clean boots, so I launched into a rapid, high-stepping march straight across the prickly fibers! One-two, one-two! A faint puff of dust kicked up around my socks, and when my plush toe snagged slightly on a coarse coir loop, I just doubled my pace and gave the brass door handle a crisp salute. The front entrance is now thoroughly inspected and shipshape, hehehe!
