A Silvery Web

I trotted along the cool river stones bordering the morning garden bed, drawn toward a low wooden plant marker. Strung right between the stake and a green leaf was a miniature spiderweb glistening with tiny dewdrops! I crept forward on quiet paws, tilting my head back to gaze at the intricate silk threads. Stretching up on tiptoes, I tapped the wooden peg with the tip of my head leaf. The web vibrated like a little silver harp, and one dewy bead slipped down the thread! I bobbed my head quickly in pure amazement.
