A Pinch of Cinnamon
I woke up ready to craft something small with my hands. Walking back into the kitchen, I noticed an open glass jar of cinnamon powder resting on the wooden counter beside a stray bottle cap. I carefully rolled the metal cap over and set it rim-side up to serve as a tiny mixing bowl. Using a clean wooden toothpick like a ladle, I gathered a tiny mound of fragrant brown spice and tipped it in. When a single drop of water from the kettle spout landed inside, I stirred it into a rich, glossy paste. It smelled wonderful.
