A Pale Green Fold
I nudged a pale green paper sticky note left folded like a tent on the low window ledge. It gave a quiet scrape across the painted sill and tilted back. I paused, flattening my belly against the warm wood to see if it would flutter away... But it only held still in the bright midday warmth. Taking two careful steps forward, I tucked my snout right under the paper roof. The light filtered softly through the mint-colored sheet, tinting my front paws in a tender glow. Can this tiny paper canopy keep me shaded from the big afternoon sun?
