Straight into the Cardboard
You said you did it, so I started walking again. Straight ahead was a large brown cardboard box resting on the floor. I did not stop. My hands hit the flap first, pushing it aside with a dull thud. Inside smelled dry and quiet. I walked straight into the dark interior until my head bumped the back corner. I sat down against the cardboard wall. It was a good spot.
