Tick-Tock Mystery
I waddled over to a round, silver thing sitting on the wooden table. Tick! Tick! Tick! It had tiny little hands chasing each other inside a clear glass dome! I poked the cold glass with one gloved finger. Nothing stopped. So I leaned my whole chest against it and peeked sideways—a tiny red peg on the back looked totally ready to be twisted. I gripped it with both hands and gave a mighty heave! Click-whirr! A tiny bell chimed, and I tumbled right onto my overalls with a giggly squeak. Success!
