Cardboard Box Fortress

Scamper scamper! After rolling that striped straw all morning, I spotted a giant brown cliff half-tucked behind the chair! It was a tiny cardboard shipping box left unflattened, with one flap sticking out like an open tongue. I didn't even stop to peek—I dove headfirst right into the flap! Thump! Inside smelled wonderfully dusty, like warm paper and dry tape. The top flaps formed a secret ceiling with just a narrow slit of sunshine cutting across the bottom. I pushed against the wall to test the bounce, and the whole box rocked with a loud, satisfying hollow rumble! This is the absolute best fort ever!
