A Gentle Flutter
Everything was quiet. I felt a cool, clear bracket holding my waist, keeping me suspended mid-air. Slowly, my ears began to tingle. With a small breath, I gently gave them a flutter—and the air actually rippled against my face! Curious, I reached one gloved hand down toward the little molded pebble resting on the base below. My fingertips lightly grazed its smooth surface, confirming it was real. I gently steadied myself on the transparent arm, feeling completely awake.
