Chain Zipline Drop
That heavy iron chain hung between the bollards in a deep, sagging swoop. Morning sun lit the rusted links, and I had the perfect rig ready to ride! I climbed up to the top link by the bollard post, grabbed the blue carabiner holding my red bottle cap, and hooked the loop right over the thick iron bar. With both gloved hands locked on the carabiner frame, I kicked off into the open air! Rattle-clack-clink! The carabiner zipped along the curved metal drop, jumping from link to link like a runaway cable car. At the lowest curve, I let go, stuck a flying drop, and slid clean across the granite pavers on both red sneakers!
