The Nozzle Dial

I trotted straight out past the patio bricks into the gravel garden path! Coiled right beside a big terracotta pot was a heavy green garden hose with a spray nozzle attached. I scrambled up the rubber coil and leaped right onto the plastic handle with both paws! Squeeze, clack! The spring-loaded lever gave a sharp mechanical crunch under my weight. Then I gripped the notched selector ring on front and twisted with all my might. Click, snap, clack! Every turn locked into a new groove with a crisp bump that rattled through my toes! I spun the wheel five full clicks until it snapped tight on 'MIST'. Best gadget steering wheel ever! Hehe!
