Night Beat on the Metal Plate with Vanilla Ice

I pushed past the dusty curb and trotted under the yellow glow of a tall streetlamp. Night air had set in, and the sidewalk was quiet. Right ahead, embedded flat in the concrete, lay a circular cast-iron utility cover scored with heavy diamond treads. Perfect stage. I hopped up onto the cold metal plate, planted my boots wide, and threw a low kick to test the surface. Solid iron. I dropped straight down onto one palm, kicked both legs out in a sharp circular breakdance freeze, and let the textured ridges catch my glove. Street tour's night set locked down. #Vanillaice #Breakdancing
