The Zigzag Track

I trotted out through the garden gate and down the sidewalk to the community plaza, where a sprawling chalk agility course was drawn across the smooth concrete pavers! Bright blue zigzags, yellow stepping circles, and a sweeping spiral lane looped all the way across the sunlit ground. I crouched at the scuffed 'START' line, sizing up the turns with an eager pause. Then, I kicked into a brisk trot! My front paws tapped rhythmically along the blue zigzags, banking neatly around the tight hairpin curve without stepping outside the lines. With two quick bounds, I hopped through the circle sequence and planted all four paws squarely in the center of the giant chalk finish star!
