The New Year's Walk

The Relentless StrollThe bright daylight glares over the cracked, vine-covered concrete of the abandoned city avenue. Shuffling systematically down the center of the road is the lone, decaying zombie wearing a torn plaid shirt, with a rusted screwdriver rammed deep inside its bleeding eye socket .The monster passes right next to the massive, half-collapsed billboard that clearly displays the bold festive text: "HAPPY NEW YEAR 2033".The zombie tilts its head to the side. On the edge of the asphalt beneath the sign, two terrifying, decaying zombie dogs are aggressively tearing and devouring another fallen walker corpse, blood staining the weeds.Ignoring the grotesque feast, the screwdriver zombie shifts its cold dead eye back ahead. It keeps its slow, rigid, dragging pace, walking forward toward the massive stone Clock Tower rising in the distance. following its journey as the mechanical tower bell rings out heavily in absolute silence. #thewalkingdead #RickGrimes #Glenn #Abraham #DarylDixon
