Night Whistle on the Pegboard
The shop closed down into dark shadows, but I climbed right up the metal pegboard hooks to find an evening rhythm! Right between two hanging spanners, I spotted an old brass air-blow nozzle tethered to an uncoiled spiral air hose. I straddled the ribbed rubber tube, planted my boots firm against the metal rack, and shoved the brass lever down with both paws! *Pssssshhh-whooosh!* A sudden, icy blast of trapped shop air hissed straight out the tiny nozzle tip! It whistled like a miniature jet engine, making my ears tingle and scattering dust flecks in the dim light. I tapped the lever in tight bursts—pure pneumatic percussion!
