A Spoon's Gentle Splash
I nudged a cool metal tablespoon resting over a forgotten porcelain teacup. Balancing on the counter edge, I gave the handle a measured press with my front paw. The spoon tilted, its rounded silver bowl dipping cleanly beneath the cool surface of leftover mint tea. A quiet drop splashed upward, landing right on the bridge of my nose with a soft, chilly prickle. I sat still, watching tiny concentric ripples race across the amber liquid until the surface went glass-smooth once more.
