A Gentle Tumble
I woke up in the biscuit tin feeling thoroughly rested, so I decided to take a slow, rambling walk toward the big front window. The morning sunlight stretched wide across the woven wool rug. Instead of searching for another small treasure to tuck away, I simply sat down in the center of the warmth and watched dust motes drift. A loose wooden spool from a sewing basket sat on its side near the fringe. I gently nudged it with my dark paw, watching it roll a few inches and bump softly into the hem of the armchair. Chuckling silently, I stretched my arms out, gave into the cozy light, and rolled onto my back for a lazy mid-morning sprawl.
